UK Storms - Notice for Residents

UK Storms - What to do if you are affected

20th February 2022

The recent storms sweeping through the country are having a major impact on some people's homes and wellbeing. The Mayor of London has urged Londoners to 'stay at home' during this adverse weather and to only go out if absolutely necessary.

We are aware that our residents may be worried about the impact of the storms on their property.

  • If you are concerned for your safety or that of another resident or member of the public, please contact us immediately on 0208 607 7777.
  • If you are experiencing immediate problems with your property, such as storm damage or rain / water entering the property, or are in danger of falling trees or roof tiles, please call us immediately on 0208 607 7777.

IF WATER IS ENTERING YOUR PROPERTY THROUGH CEILING LIGHTS OR ELECTRICAL GANGWAYS, THIS IS A SERIOUS DANGER. CLOSE DOWN YOUR ELECTRIC CIRCUIT IMMEDIATELY, TURN OFF ALL SWITCHES AND CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY.

Because of the severity of these storms we are expecting a higher than usual demand for our services. In order for us to prioritise those in most need, please only contact us in the event of an emergency.

For all other enquiries and non-urgent storm-related issues, please contact us via our Resident's Portal.

Please visit https://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/warnings-and-advice/seasonal-advice/your-home/stay-safe-in-a-storm for advice as to how to stay safe and protect your property in a storm.

We thank you for your cooperation.
