Buy & Sell

RE-USE, RECYCLE AND SUPPORT YOUR ENVIRONMENT

Reusing products, upcyclling, and recycling is a great way to support your environment and community. Buying and Selling good conditioned products saves (or makes) money whilst eliminating waste and reducing the effects of mass consumerism (such as packaging waste, production pollution, and delivery ‘miles’).

* * * We are currently working on developing an Inquilab 'Marketplace' for residents where you can buy and sell your products * * *

In the meantime, here are some useful places to help you sell, or buy, second-hand, good-conditioned, products, and put some money back in your pocket too!

Facebook Marketplace

If you’re on Facebook, its Marketplace pages will automatically locate items for sale in your area. You can easily sell items too, at no cost.

FreeCycle

The Freecycle Network is made up of over 5,000 groups all over the world - and next door to you. It’s entirely a non-profit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns and neighbourhoods. It's all about reuse and keeping good stuff out of landfills. Membership is free. To sign up, find your community by entering it into the search box at https://uk.freecycle.org

Ebay

You will need to register but once signed in you will have access to thousands of products and the ability to sell almost anything! www.ebay.co.uk

West London Waste

This is a Government resource site with lots of really useful information about recycling, furniture collections, and links to local places where you can sell or donate your unwanted products. Visit https://westlondonwaste.gov.uk/.
