At the very core of Inquilab is the fundamental ideal of instilling and fostering fairer opportunities for all. Our association is routed in the ‘revolution’ (the meaning of the word Inquilab in Urdu and Hindi) required to enable communities to develop and exist in a way that is fair and equitable.
This approach is extended to our staff where we believe that everyone who works with us should be given the same opportunity to achieve their potential.
We are proud of our diverse workforce, which collectively brings a wealth of knowledge, culture, and experience that makes us a stronger, better, business.
We continue to work with staff and partners to increase understanding of cultural issues and awareness and how, together, we can collaborate to support the needs of the equally diverse communities in which we work and serve.
Where we can, and through collaboration with others, we continue to campaign for decent homes, opportunities for employment ,and improved environments for those living in challenging circumstances (such as on low incomes or areas of deprivation), and / or people from BME backgrounds for whom such opportunities are not always made available.
At Inquilab, we aim at all times to be reflective of our communities, and we encourage our staff to challenge any behaviours and actions – both inside Inquilab and within our communities – that compromise diversity and inclusion and breach the spirit of ‘The Inquilab Way’.
