We are proud to have a Board of Directors and Management Team which is truly committed to making a difference to lives of our residents. 

Our Board of Directors is made up of our Chief Executive and a group of independent, professional, people with proven senior executive experience within our sector. Collectively, the Board is responsible for the strategic planning and legal compliance of our organisation. We are proud to have a Board of Directors who are truly committed to making a difference to the lives of our residents. 

Introducing our Board

PAMELA LEONCE

Pamela is our Chairperson, bringing over 20 years experience in the housing and social care sector, most of which have been at senior and executive level. Specialising in community development, social and economic regeneration and customer services, Pamela’s background includes working with vulnerable and disadvantage groups; she is currently the Corporate Director for a national charity which specialises in offender rehabilitation services.

As well as extensive knowledge and experience within the housing sector, Pamela also advises businesses on Corporate Social Responsibility strategies and effective community engagement approaches.

Pamela has held several non-executive roles, is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, qualified ‘English as a Second Language’ (ESOL) tutor, a former school governor, and is a member of the British International Institute of Management.

GINA AMOH

Gina is Chief Executive of Inquilab and has worked in housing for over 30 years.

Before joining Inquilab in 2001, Gina was Director of Housing overseeing the transformation of service delivery and strategic responsibility for front line services including Housing Management, Customer Services, Income Management, Leasehold Management, Community Development, asse’t management, repairs and maintenance.

Up until late 2020 Gina was Chair of BME London – the group of 14 small and medium housing associations who work in collaboration to deliver support and services to customers and communities. During this time, Gina founded and launched Leadership 2025 – a leadership programme aimed at developing senior BME professionals within the sector.

A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing, Gina also holds an MBA, is a Board member of the Guinness Partnership, and is a Member of the Homes for Londoners Board.

In 2020, Gina was named amongst the top 20 'Women in Housing: Leaders' list published by Inside Housing and placing her as one of the most inspirational women within the sector.

KATIE WILMOT

Katie is an Inquilab resident who leads our Customer (Resident) Committee which is responsible for overseeing the provision of services to our residents and monitoring resident engagement activities.

A Chartered Architect with 15 years experience in the creative and construction industries, Katie’s professional experience spans a number of sectors, including master planning, social and private housing, commercial, mixed use, and education – from concept design through to planning, technical design, and on-site contract administration.

Katie is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and splits her time between work in practice and education. Previously a member of Council at the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Katies has served on various committees and working groups including Architects for Change – the RIBA Equality and Diversity Forum.

PUNEET RAJPUT

Puneet is currently Executive Director of Governance and Compliance at Moat Housing. He has over 20 years experience of working in social housing with housing associations, local authorities and Arms Length Management Organisations. Puneet is a chartered company secretary by profession and is passionate about good governance as the bedrock for sustainable long term success.

Puneet has extensive experience of leading corporate services for different housing providers in areas including transformation, governance, human resources, IT, communications and finance.

PETA CAINE

Peta has been in the housing sector for over 32 years working in operations and business development. Her experience includes leading Ealing Council’s Landlord Services and, more recently, as Assistant Director of Property Services for Kensington and Chelsea.

A specialist in residential property and regeneration, Peta has extensive experience within both the commercial and social housing sectors, developing and delivering business strategy and transformation programmes. Peta is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute.

CHYREL BROWN

Chyrel Brown is the Chief Operating Officer at One Housing. Since joining in July 2019, where she leads on key operational areas of the business including property, housing, and repairs, and is responsible for building and fire safety.

Previously Chyrel was Director of Resident Services at Hyde Housing Group and, prior to that, Interim Group Director of Housing. Chyrel also held the role of Assistant Director at Circle Housing and has also worked at L&Q and Asra Housing.

She is currently also a Board Member of Barnsbury Housing Association.

JAHANARA RAJKOOMAR

Jahanara is the Director of Community Investment at MTVH with a record of delivering strategic and innovative social solutions that positively benefit the business and its customers.


Making a difference to people who are socially disadvantaged or excluded is Jahanara's primary motivator and has defined her career to date. This still remains a huge passion; trying to make a difference to people in a way that is meaningful to them. Jahanara has brought this commitment into the housing sector over 14 years in a variety of roles and has used her experience and knowledge to influence how housing can play a role in enabling customers to be better tenants and take control of their lives.

Jahanara leads teams and programmes to develop and deliver creative responses to organisational challenges that are highly effective and demonstrably deliver value for money.

WASIU FADAHUNSI

Wasiu is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and an Associate of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (AMCT) with experience in Management, Financial and Project Accounting. He has a strong treasury background in a number of industries, including Manufacturing, Financial Services, Real Estate and Housing Associations, and has worked across many organisations from Multinational companies to SMEs. Wasiu has worked to deliver strategic growth and improvements in financial and operating performance, using strengths in strategic planning, forecasting, proactive financial advice, driving change, treasury control, procurement delivery, raising finance, team leadership, stakeholder and risk management.

JACK STEPHEN

Jack joined the Board of Inquilab Housing Association in June 2022 and is Chair of our Audit and Risk Committee.

With 30 years senior executive experience within the social housing sector, Jack’s career also spans over 20 years in finance as a chartered accountant and finance executive.

Most notably, Jack joined Thames Valley Housing Group in 1994 and later became its Deputy Chief Executive and Finance Director where he led its transformation and growth.

Since retiring in 2015, Jack’s restless passion for serving the housing sector and its communities, has seen him undertake a number of Non-Executive and Committee roles. In addition to Inquilab, Jack currently serves on the board of Barnet Homes Group, First Affordable Housing, and Spear Housing. He is an active member of Notting Hill Genesis Treasury Committee, and is an independent member of the NHF’s Audit and Risk Committee.


Our Senior Management Team is responsible for leading our organisation and delivering on our strategic objectives. It is led by Chief Executive, Gina Amoh. It is supported by a Leadership team comprising Head of Finance, Head of Governance, Head of Customer Services, Head of Property Assets, and Marketing & Communications Specialist.

GINA AMOH, Chief Executive

Gina has worked in housing for over 30 years, starting her career as a housing officer. Gina joined Inquilab in 2001 as Chief Executive.

ERIC NELSON-ADDY, Director of Finances and Resources

Eric first worked for Inquilab in 2001 and left to work abroad for two years. He re-joined Inquilab as the Director of Finance and Resources in October 2009.

HOWARD DAWSON, Director of Customers

Howard joined Inquilab in December 2021. He is responsible for leading the organisation's customer services and operations team.

With over 25 years experience within the housing sector, Howard has worked in Senior Management and Director positions for a number of small, medium and large housing associations in London and the South-East. Howard has also been a Non-Executive Director for the YMCA St Pauls’ Group and is currently a Non-Executive Director and Trustee for a food box charity.

The Executive Management Team is further strengthened with Janet Arthur, Director of Organisational Development and Change.
