Can I get help with my rent?

If you’re on a low income, you could get Housing Benefit to help pay for some or all of your rent. How much you get will depend on your income and other factors.

You can apply for Housing Benefit whether you’re unemployed or working. Contact your council’s Housing Benefit department for details.
